Main Task: Case Study of a Publishing House





I have chosen ‘Conde Nast Digital’ to discuss because they do not do music magazines; they focus mainly o Fashion and Beauty magazines. They publish magazines such as Food and Health, Travel, Electronics< Bridal and Men Magazine. ‘Conde Nast Digital’ publishes a very famous magazine called GQ which is a magazine about men’s fashion. Other magazine they publish are Love, Glamour and Vogue magazine, these magazine target women of different ages, teenagers also read these magazines. Other magazines such as Easy Living, Brides and House & Garden would target older women or house wives, while Bride magazine would target married women or women about to get married. Apart from GQ and GQ style all other magazines published by Conde Nast Digital would influence women than men. The only men magazines they publish are GQ, GQ style and Wired. The magazine called Traveler has no specific gender it targets and can be families because the magazine talks about travelling. Every magazine Conde Nast Digital publishes targets different place which gives them a bigger audience and customers that would be interested because they do not target a particular place or people. Conde Nast Digital also advertises for clothing, cars, shoes, computers, drinks, shops, Baby materials phones and perfume companies such as Ford, New look, Dior, LG, Gap, MAC, Disaronno, Oris, Dorothy Perkins, Jo molone, Johnsons, Marriott, L’Oreal, Alfa Romeo, Calvin Klein, Bobby Brown, Contiki, Clinique and Debenhams. They would advertise these brands and companies through the magazines, they would also publish their websites which gives a chance for the targeted audience to view the advertised company or brand.
