Induction: Movie poster Textual Analysis

Indian Jones
Denotation: A man standing at the entrance of a tomb, and a skull covered in fire.
Connotation: The poster shows the man looks brave and also shows he has been going to strange place.
Mise-en-sence
Costume: His costume looks dirty, and he is wearing an old hat for his age. His shirt is half opened, and his whole dressing shows he has been in some sort of trouble.
Props: he is holding a whip and he has a gun, he will be protecting himself from the trouble he will get into. He has a bag around his neck, it gives us more details about the man and he will be putting things in his bag. The man might be an adventure.
Settings: The setting is a place where people do not go, it is dark there and the only light they is the skull covered in fire. Which might mean he will use this skull to find something?
Lighting: A low key lighting was used at the bottom of the poster and around the walls on the poster, but a high key lighting is also used behind the man and it is in the colour of flames which signifies grave danger.
